Keep the following dates open for the Our Lady of Peace/Notre Dame de Lourdes School carnival: Tuesday, June 27, 2017 through Saturday, July 1, 2017, from 6:00 PM through 10:00 PM each evening Tuesday through Friday and 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM on Saturday.
We plan to have a Pig Roast on Thursday, June 29th, and on the closing night of the carnival (July 1st), we will have an Italian Night featuring a spaghetti dinner with meatballs or sausage. A selection of other foods, including hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken fingers, and French fries will also be available on all nights.
Advanced sale of carnival ride tickets will be made available at the parish office, the school office and after each weekend Mass through June 26th. Strips of 20 tickets will be sold for $25.00 per strip. Each advanced sale ticket will allow the holder to ride any carnival ride. This represents a significant savings compared to the tickets purchased during the carnival. The carnival rides will require 3 or more tickets if the tickets are purchased during the carnival.
The Carnival Raffle, with a top prize of $1000, second prize of $500, and 5 additional prizes of $100 will be drawn on Saturday night, July 1st. Tickets may be purchased at the parish office, school office, after each weekend Mass and at the parish booth during the carnival. Tickets may be returned with your donations in the collection baskets or at any of the above mentioned purchase sites.
Finally, we will need volunteers to make the Carnival a success. Volunteer sheets will be available in the OLP and Notre Dame church vestibules, the St. Joseph room in Notre Dame school each weekend, the parish and school offices and on
Sign Up Genius. If you can devote several hours during Carnival week, it will be greatly appreciated.
